TrendDrishti ("we", "our", "us") operates the website at trenddrishti.in and the application at app.trenddrishti.in. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

• Account data: Your Google account email address and a unique user ID, obtained via Google OAuth sign-in.
• Usage data: Stock tickers you scan, scan parameters, scan history, and credit balance.
• Contact data: Email address provided when joining the waitlist, and the name and mobile number you enter at checkout.
• Advertising data: If you reach us through an ad, the ad's click identifier (such as Google's gclid or Meta's fbclid) and campaign tags. On Android these are passed from our website through the Google Play Store to the app when you first install it.
• Technical data: Browser type, IP address, and pages visited — collected automatically via server logs and Google Analytics.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate the TrendDrishti platform.
• To manage your account, credits, and subscription.
• To send transactional emails (scan results, credit alerts) if you have opted in.
• To improve our service through aggregated, anonymised analytics.
• To measure which of our ads lead to app installs, sign-ups and subscriptions.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers essential to operating TrendDrishti (Firebase/Google Cloud for auth and database, Razorpay for payments) and only to the extent necessary.

For ad measurement we share with Google (Google Ads, Google Analytics) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram ads) the ad click identifier, the type and value of the conversion (for example, a ₹1,499 subscription), and your email address and mobile number in hashed form (scrambled one way, so it can't be read back), so they can match the conversion to the ad. We never share your scans, the stocks you look at, or your reports.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Scan history is retained for 12 months. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email support.trenddrishti@gmail.com.

6. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication and Google Analytics cookies for site analytics. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; however, some functionality may be affected.

Our website uses the Meta Pixel and Google tags (Google Ads and Google Analytics) to measure visits and ad performance. You can block them in your browser; the site still works.

7. Security

All data is transmitted over TLS. We use Firebase security rules to restrict data access to the authenticated user only.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
